Who we are
Little Bhutan is a government-licensed tour operator based in Thimphu, Kingdom of Bhutan. This website is https://littlebhutan.com. You can reach us any time at info@littlebhutan.com.
This policy explains what personal data this website handles, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we ask for your name, email address, and message, and optionally your country, travel dates, party size, and the kind of trip you’re interested in. If you enquire from a tour page, the tour name is included so we know which trip you’re asking about.
Your enquiry is delivered to us as an email. It is not stored in a database on this website.
Bot protection. The enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs in your browser on pages with the form and evaluates browser and environment signals — including your IP address — to distinguish people from bots. This processing happens before and during form submission and is handled by Cloudflare; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Direct contact. If you email us, or message us on WhatsApp, those services handle your data under their own privacy policies.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data under the Google privacy policy. Analytics only runs on littlebhutan.com itself, not on preview or staging copies of the site.
If you are visiting from Europe, analytics cookies stay off until you accept them in the consent banner. Declining (or ignoring) the banner leaves them off, and your choice is remembered on this device. To change your mind later, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
We set no other cookies. There are no accounts, logins, or comments on this website.
You can block analytics with a browser content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the site works exactly the same.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone. The services that process data on our behalf are:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website, verifies form submissions (Turnstile), and delivers enquiry emails to us.
- Google — analytics, as described above.
Beyond that, your enquiry is read only by our small team in Thimphu to plan your trip.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to plan your trip and follow up with you. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
Your rights
Email info@littlebhutan.com and we will tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We answer overnight messages first thing in the Thimphu morning (Bhutan is UTC+6).
