Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival: Paro - Thimphu

Driving duration: 65kms/1.5hrs
Elevation: 2200m/7218ft

The first gift from Bhutan will be the cool, clean fresh air as you step out of the plane. After completing your visa formalities and clearing your immigrations, we will warmly welcome you in a traditional way. We will then continue to drive on to Thimphu.

Overnight in Thimphu

Day 02 Thimphu - Punakha

Driving duration: 77kms/3hrs
Elevation: 1310m /4300ft

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3150m/10,000ft)

- Punakha Dzong/fortress
- Punakha Suspension bridge

Overnight in Punakha

Day 03 Punakha - Paro

Driving duration: 137kms/3-4hrs
Elevation: 2200m/7218ft

After an early breakfast, drive to Paro recrossing Dochula Pass and Thimphu.

- En-route through Ta Chog Temple & Iron Chain Bridge
- Ta Dzong (National Museum)
- Paro Rinpong Dzong
- Explore Paro Town

Day 04 Paro - Hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)

Hiking Duration: Approx. 5 to 6 hrs roundtrip
Elevation: 3120m / 10236ft

Hike to the Tiger's Nest Monastery

Day 05 Departure

After breakfast, we drive on to the airport in Paro, to catch your flight to your onward destination as you bid farewell to the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan.
