Gasa Hot Spring

Situated near the banks of the Mo Chu (Male River), Gasa Hot Spring is renowned for its medicinal benefits, such as relief from joint pain and fatigue. Both locals and tourists frequently visit this hot spring, which has undergone several renovations in the past year.

There are other medicinal hot springs nearby, making the area a popular destination for those seeking therapeutic relaxation. It’s the perfect place to end the day after a hike to Laya or after sightseeing.

The Gasa Hot Springs are highly respected and frequently visited in Bhutan. Their origin dates back to the 13th century when a lama named Terkhungpa was believed to have distributed medicines in the region.
