Once the visitor has entered Bhutan, getting around is possible only by road. The cost of transportation is included in the price of your trip if you are travelling on a tourist visa.
The drive from Paro to Thimphu takes less than an hour, passing through some of the most spectacular ridges and towering hills along Wangchu river.
