Paro River

Paro Dzong -Little Bhutan

Over the years, the Paro River has become a popular tourist site. Running throughout Paro valley, till Chudzom, it symbolizes many things. It symbolizes life as it supports paddy field plantations in the valley. It also symbolizes purity and travel, as the water begins from the sacred mountains of Jomolhari, some seventy kilometers north.
