Narphungla
Narphungla is a natural bird hotspot, home to species like the Violet Cuckoo and Gold-naped Finch, among others. Accessible by car, this serene location is situated along the Trashigang-Samdrup Jongkhar highway. Along the way, you’ll find a small shop selling local products, such as bamboo baskets and fresh vegetables. Narphungla, a key stop on the route to Pemagatshel, serves as a vital natural habitat for birds and connects three dzongkhags: Trashigang, Samdrup Jongkhar, and Pemagatshel.
