Bhutan requests India for investment in more hydropower projects
The royal government has asked India to invest in a few more hydropower projects in the next couple of years. National Council Chairperson Dasho Sonam Kinga said what the country is looking for in the next two to three years is to expedite the development of a few more hydro projects. Expectations from India include interest expressed by Indian companies to come to Bhutan and the ongoing interest to exploit natural resources for development purposes.
