As part of a lead up to the FIFA World Cup Championship 2014, the 18-carat gold FIFA World Cup Trophy will be displayed at Changlimithang stadium, Thimphu today. The cup, which measures 36.8 cm high, and weighs 6,175 grams has been touring the world and was in Bangladesh till yesterday. The Coca-Cola Company, in partnership with FIFA and Bhutan Football Federation, were the ones to bring it to Bhutan. The trophy will be taken to 89 countries within 267 days. The next stops from Bhutan will be India, Nepal and Myanmar.
