Overall this was a lovely trip. Great friendship and warm hospitality from Sonam, Tshering and Kinzang and all the people I have encountered in Bhutan. I would like to suggest that you offer options & flexibility in the itinerary and let the visitors know that ‘WiFi’ may not be available in some of the hotels. I am very happy that I chose Little Bhutan. They responded immediately and with sincerity to my first questions. The town was amazing I felt very fortunate to have been given an amazing tour guide and driver. I am a solo traveler and because of the friendship built with Sonam and Karma, I haven’t felt by myself. They made it very clear that they would do whatever was necessary to make sure it was a memorable experience. They made it personal by getting to know what I wanted to experience during my stay in Bhutan. We went to a hot stone bath and farm dinner for our last day(after hiking to Tiger’s nest). This was the best experience. All tourist have the same complaint. We are separated form the people and the lifestyle of Bhutan. I am so glad my guide gave me the experience. Terri Tonnellier

Liz McGuire in Bhutan I have decided that Bhutan puts the ‘B’ into Beautiful! I have had the most amazing time! This is thanks not only to your wonderful country, and it’s culture, but in a very large part to my guide, Ugyen, and driver Tshering who have been absolutely fantastic. They have looked after me so well and have been excellent company. I shall miss them. Also, both were full of knowledge and were able to answer all my many questions. I feel I have learnt so much about Bhutan through them. Ugyen was a brilliant guide and Tshering a very good driver. I felt 100% safe in his hands. A big Thank you to them both. I have no suggestion that could have made my trip better, everything was perfect for me from the booking process which Tenzin made so easy, answering every email promptly and precisely and tailoring my trip exactly what I wanted, to the reality of being here. The whole experience has exceeded my expectations I may have had. I love this country, not just for it’s beauty but for it’s amazing history, it’s forward, alternative, clever thinking and it’s relation of culture. Everyone seems so proud to be Bhutanese and lightly. So I also love the whole ethos of the religion. I could go on and on but out of space! Jelle De Ruijter & Josette Peters in Bhutan We had a wonderful honeymoon experience in Bhutan. We had made a very tight schedule because we wanted to go as far east as possible in 5 days. Our guide & driver ensured that we didn’t feel rushed and we took the time to visit fortresses, monasteries and spot the Cranes. They also adjusted the schedule where necessary. “Our Guide was kind, reliable, friendly, on-time, great English skills and vocabulary and a great photographer. The hike with the horses was nice. Slowed down the pace a bit (in a good way). Camp set up (tents, sleeping bags, tables & chairs etc..) for the trek was good. Food on the trip was great. Good variety and taste. Thanks to Dorji ( our cook for the trek). Please avoid direct trips from Punakha to Bumthang, the drive is for too long and serves no road purpose. We recommend an overnight half way between Punakha and Bumthang. The Amankora hotel in Bumthang is a very good hotel, however the value for money is poor. In simple words it is not worth the money charged, therefore we would recommend that you suggest to your future clients to think twice before choosing this hotel. There are so many travel agents in Bhutan, but my friend had booked our trip with Little Bhutan, mainly seems she like the name…..impractical but I must say we were lucky. Lucky that the bookings went well. We were also lucky to be assigned with Karma, a knowledgeable guide who is also proficiency in English, I must say. We also had a very safe, careful and helpful driver, who not only drove us around Paro, Thimphu and Punakha, he also accompanied us almost all our visits and hikes which normally a driver wont as we understood from the guide. The Tiger Nest Monastery was an experience for an unfit person like me but with the help of Karma and Kumar, I made it without rolling down the hill. And not only did we get to see the tourist sights, we also had a look of Bhutanese right life….and a typical Bhutanese one too!!! Lee Ling & Lay Peng

There were so many agencies, but I’m sure i got the best! My guides were great, they would try to realize all you like to do! Feel free to tell them whatever you like! I’m travelling alone as a woman and its a great place to do that here, you will feel totally safe all time.Also my driver and his car were excellent. And you got the best hotels everywhere! My Guide was very good, he went out of his way to make sure that my stay was good, even ready to help me after I was dropped off for the day. He had his friends in town help with questions and favours My driver was consistently waiting in all the right places.

They were very courteous, sincere and helpful. The guide was always keen on carrying my bag even though I was not tired when I was climbing Tiger’s Nest. Thank you once again for the memorable experience that we had in Bhutan. Despite the rainy weather, the road block and not being able to go up Taksang I believe everything still fall into places, we got a chance to meet some of the royal families, we were able to ride all kinds of vehicles due to the road block from the biggest delivery truck to a pick up truck to a small car. We also got to taste your local delicacies and stayed in cozy hotels, by the way the food is great in Metta Resort & Galinka Hotel. Please send our regards and gratitude towards your guide and driver they were really friendly, helpful and they really took good care of us, we really enjoyed their company and we learned alot of cultural & spriritual lifetstyle of Bhutan.
