Travellers on Little Bhutan

Our Group had a very good experience visiting Bhutan this time. Most of the people in our group were between the age group of 50-60 and some even between 70-80, but the guide Mr. Sonam and the drive Mr. Tshering took care of us all extremely well. We really appreciate all the services provided for our group. The only problem was that some of the members did not like the services at the hotel in Punakha. Overall we are very satisfied with this trip and will take back fond memories, especially the visit to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. We very much appreciate the services provided by Little Bhutan. Tshering did an excellent job in arranging the itinerary to cater for our stay in Bhutan. She patiently answered all questions we had in our email conversations. Kinley and Kezang provided excellent service to us. Patiently walked up to the Tiger’s Nest with us. Kezang completed a tough job to drive us to Punakha since the road is now under construction. We enjoyed every minute we stayed in Bhutan and will strongly recommend our friends to come visit. All the restaurants had good view to the country and were very impressive. It would have been perfect if the buffet lunch/dinner had more variety and selection. We’ve had a wonderful time during our stay in Bhutan and “Little Bhutan” as a Tour agency has been extremely professional and caring right from the first email two months ago. Correspondence was fast and arrangements made with quick and ease. When we arrived, our guide Mr. Ugyen and the driver were waiting fir us and they made a huge effort to guide us through the country with great success with impressive knowledge about Buddhism and the Bhutanese culture & history. First of all we would like to thank our great “happy” guide Sonam as well as our polite and “always keeping everything tidy” driver Yonten. We had much of fun with them, being the best representatives of GNH and a great team. Besides that we experienced many friendly people; in no way intrusive like in many countries. As a side effect, lots of untouched forest, so many birds and dogs, lots of Dzongs and Goemba/Chortens and everywhere where your eye turns, lovely prayer flags. The traditional dress (Gho/Kira) that the Bhutanese people wear everyday was a wonderful part of learning abut Bhutan’s culture. The birthday celebration was a wonderful surprise for Sandy and was very much appreciated. However dogs barking at night seems to be a bit of problem as it affects one’s ability to get a good night’s sleep to start the day early to explore your beautiful country. Sandy & Larry Fassett USA
