The Wangditse hike is a short and easy trek starting from Sangeygang and taking about an hour to complete. Before the hike, visitors can stop by the Takin Center, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the takin. The center, which is located just below the hike’s starting point, features a nice cafe and clean toilets. The hike ends at Dechen Phodrang Monastery and offers excellent views of Thimphu city.
